The subject of this painting not only had stunning green eyes, but a powerful gaze, one that seemed to cut through the urban haze. Daily life can seem like a mess, especially when we’re in the thick of it. But there’s beauty in how the mundane details of our lives collide. Spoons, lip gloss, sink stoppers, letters… I wanted to explore the collision of these every day objects and give the audience a new perspective on them.
