Drawings are often thought of as static and stationary. Yet animation, fluid and in flux, is comprised of drawings. I wanted to find an in-between, a single drawing on the brink of motion.

Madness

Madness isn’t particularly malicious or malevolent. It isn’t a heartless monster. It’s an unruly child that won’t take no for an answer, throws a tantrum when it doesn’t get its way, and won’t stop touching everything. Which is worse, I think.
